Entrance exams to plan for
Depending on the programme, admission to SDM University can involve NEET-UG, State nursing entrance tests, University entrance tests, NEET-UG (some institutions) and NEET-UG (some states). Medical, dental and AYUSH seats always require a qualifying NEET score, including management and NRI seats. Step-by-step admission process
A safe admission process for SDM University usually follows this order:
- Confirm the programme is open for the current intake on the official website.
- Check eligibility: qualifying exam, subject combination and minimum marks.
- Register for the required entrance exam and the applicable counselling or institutional portal.
- Complete choice filling or the institutional application and keep every confirmation.
- Attend document verification and pay fees only through the institution's official channels.
Management quota and NRI admission
For MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing and BPT, private institutions commonly fill a share of seats through management, institutional or NRI routes. Whether such seats exist at SDM University this year, how many there are, and the approved fee must be confirmed with the institution and counselling authority.
A management or NRI seat never bypasses eligibility or a mandatory entrance exam. Be cautious of anyone offering a guaranteed seat or asking for cash payments.
