Madhya Pradesh has a growing number of private medical and dental colleges, particularly around Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur. Seats in these colleges, including NRI seats, are filled through state counselling.
Who conducts counselling
The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh conducts NEET-UG counselling for state-quota seats in government colleges and for seats in private medical and dental colleges in the state, in the categories defined in the rules for that year — including NRI seats in private colleges.
Deemed universities and the all-India quota are filled through MCC.
